Current Openings

We are currently looking for a Beer & Beverage Sales Manager to join our team. This position is responsible for providing technical brewing expertise and sales management to the Beer & Beverage product line. This position includes oversight of the solicitation of customer inquiries, the quotation of the resulting inquiries, the sale of the product, customer service after the order, and the maintenance of overall customer satisfaction. The primary focus for this position is the solicitation of shop-fabricated equipment, but will also act as a sales representative for Mueller Field Operations.


Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

● Must be a team player willing to work hard for the common good of the company.

● Position may require extensive travel. Travel levels should be expected to be 40% to 60% of the time. Actual travel time will depend on the needs of the customer and sales performance of the product line.

● Must have excellent oral and written communication skills

● Must be proficient in estimating, commercial terms and conditions review, clarification, and negotiation


Education and Experience

● Bachelor of Science degree, business or marketing major with brewing industry experience preferred

Set up or assist lower classifications in setting up machines

We are looking for a Field Engineer to join our team with Mueller Field Operations.  This position is assigned to Field Projects at various locations and durations.

Essential Job Functions
● Interface with all construction building trades, as well as union and non-union labor (i.e. Boilermakers, Pipefitters, Electricians, Millwrights, Laborers, etc.)
● Coordinate daily activities with Customer, Owner or Owner’s Representative.
● Coordinate and interface with all departments at the home office (i.e. Sales, Purchasing, Traffic, Safety, Operations, Engineering, Accounting, Payroll, etc.)
● Responsible for all field layout and placement of equipment and components including final inspections and vessel sign-offs.
● Order and track all supplies purchased from vendors for jobsite.
● Coordinate and track project detail scheduling.
● Perform safety meetings and inspections, audits.  Responsible to assist/support all Safety at the jobsite.
● Inventory control of all tools, equipment, material and supplies including coordinating, shipping and receiving.  
● Responsible for job site reporting, tracking, scheduling and jobsite costs.  
● Responsible to review and track quality inspections and documentation.
● Work on special assignments outside of field assignments – sales trips, estimates etc.  

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities 
● Must be able to travel extensively both long term and short term.

● Reviews and approves all applicable departmental capital expenditures requests and plant engineering requests for assigned departments.
● Assures that all individuals within assigned departments have a clear understanding of their responsibility and authority.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
● Experience and working knowledge in a shop environment
● Completion of additional training requirements as directed by standard operating procedures related to the position and the Superintendent
● Blueprint reading and welding knowledge and experience

Education and Experience
●Four year college degree in Industrial Technology or related field and/or five years Supervisor experience in a manufacturing environment (preferably stainless steel)

We are currently looking for someone to fill our Regional Sales Manager Position. This position is responsible for direct sales of assigned products within the Heat Transfer Products division. The individual in this position must have a broad technical knowledge of the Company’s products. This position requires working with customers and Manufacturer’s Representatives defining technical capabilities, application suitability, ASME requirements, design alterations, defining specifications, etc., as needed in selling the Company’s products. The individual must exercise considerable independent technical and commercial judgment over sales projects within an assigned region of the division. The position requires 50% to 75% travel including foreign travel for customer presentations, sales support and service consultation is required.



Essential Job Functions

● Grow the sales volume within the assigned region

● Meet target profitability goals within the assigned region

● Manage the Manufacturer’s Representatives in assigned region maintaining regular contact with them and customers regarding proposals, orders, service requirements, future equipment needs.

● Provide sales, product and application training to Manufacturer’s Representatives

● Perform regular analysis and performance evaluation for each Manufacturer’s Representatives within assigned region.

● Conduct presentations for Manufacturer’s Representatives and customers including all technical aspects of the project, pricing, payment terms and shipping schedules.

● Read, understand and negotiate Terms and Condition for orders

● Read, understand and negotiate customer specifications for equipment

● Review and negotiate settlement of customer complaints in cooperation with other personnel on aftermarket and warranty issues.

● Develop annual sales plans and expense budgets in assigned region

● Perform other duties as assigned by the General Manager.

We currently are looking for someone to join our Mueller Field Operations group.  This position will manage our tool depot, assets and consumables to support the operations group in field projects.

Duties

1. Assist and provide support to estimating on field tool hours, equipment availability and equipment capacity.

2. Develop tool buy lists based upon tool availability.

3. Execute filling of Tool Lists.

4. Material pick-up and delivery to staging area.

5. Report material deliveries for inspection.

6. Execution of tool, material and equipment loads per plan to job site.

7. Communicate tools and equipment deficiencies for MER’s & expensed equipment.

8. Develop repair procedures and go/no-go indicators.

9. Report tool abuse, theft or misplacement.

10. Develop tool depot preventive maintenance plan.

11. Maintain field service trucks to tool list standard and oversee preventative maintenance.

12. Directly integrated into the Safety Program and responsible to teach, enforce and discipline.

13. Responsible to develop both short and long term project specific schedules.

14. Responsible to the tool depot hours in the estimate of each project.

15. Trouble Shooting with Field Crews by way of phone, fax or site visit.

16. Responsible to travel when needed to return tools and equipment to safe condition when it’s not economic to send back to home office.


Personal Requirements and Skills:

• Regular, in-person attendance due to necessary teamwork and personal interactive nature of this position

• Must have a maintenance background.

• Must be able to travel extensively, both long and short term - Approx. 10%.

• Must have applicable computer skills with knowledge of Windows, Microsoft Word, Excel, and Microsoft     Project. Must be willing to improve computer skills as needed.
