Current Openings

We are currently looking for a Beer & Beverage Sales Manager to join our team. This position is responsible for providing technical brewing expertise and sales management to the Beer & Beverage product line. This position includes oversight of the solicitation of customer inquiries, the quotation of the resulting inquiries, the sale of the product, customer service after the order, and the maintenance of overall customer satisfaction. The primary focus for this position is the solicitation of shop-fabricated equipment, but will also act as a sales representative for Mueller Field Operations.

● Must be a team player willing to work hard for the common good of the company.

● Position may require extensive travel. Travel levels should be expected to be 40% to 60% of the time. Actual travel time will depend on the needs of the customer and sales performance of the product line.

● Must be proficient in estimating, commercial terms and conditions review, clarification, and negotiation


Education and Experience

● Bachelor of Science degree, business or marketing major with brewing industry experience preferred

Set up and operate machines to make production parts from blue prints that meet shop tolerances and specifications.

Perform manual welding, grinding and cutting operations that conform with shop tolerances and specifications.

Operate spray foam insulating and sandblast equipment.

Complete all required testing to ensure functioning and safety. Complete all required documentation of testing.

Complete visual inspection and notify the quality inspector of any defects.

Complete all required paperwork in a timely manner.

Meet all company quality standards.

Paul Mueller Company’s Osceola, Iowa facility seeks a Production Supervisor to join our team. This position directs and coordinates activities of workers engaged in assigned production line. This position reports to the Plant Manager.


Essential Job Functions

Plans, develops, and implements new methods and procedures designed to improve operations, minimize operating costs, and effect greater utilization of labor and materials.

Manage & supervise employees - approve time cards, designate and distribute workload, conduct reviews, resolve problems and discipline when necessary.

-Delegate tasks as required

-Make decisions to hire, staff, and discharge employees as needed

Supervise assigned production line.

Coordinate and communicate with Planning, Production & Shipping on customer orders & ship dates as well as make-to-stock inventory.

Ensure quality standards, making judgment calls when necessary.

Review work order packets for accuracy (BOMs, routers, drawings). Report any discrepancies to Engineering (complete ECRs as necessary).

Maintain production schedule

Routine care of equipment outside of the scope of Maintenance - regular cleaning & care. Maintain documentation for these duties.

Order shop supplies and tools for areas of responsibility.

Duties as assigned

Attend and contribute to open book management - attend weekly huddles, forecast numbers that supervisor owns, educate and engage employees, be able to explain variances between forecast and final numbers that supervisor owns.

Essential Job Functions
*Complete travelers and draft data reports
*Complete and document product inspections and walk-down forms
*Communicate schedule requirements with the Al to ensure data reports are complete on time
*Confirm with manufacturing supervisor that required special testing or documentation is being completed
*Work with the customer's inspection team during FAT
*Verify that the required standards of quality are maintained for the product involved
*Perform other duties and take on other responsibilities as required


Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
*Experience with ASME Code, Section VIII, Division I or equivalent
*Ability to read and understand manufacturing drawings
*Good mechanical aptitude
*CWI certification is preferred but a minimum level of weld inspection experience is essential.
*Experience with various NDE methods
*Knowledge of gauges and measuring instruments.
*Must be able to work on multiple tasks with little supervision in a fast paced environment
*Shows initiative to perform duties beyond assignment-specific duties

High school graduate or equivalent. Knowledge of engineering principles and techniques, various fabrication methods and installation procedures; a broad understanding of a wide spectrum of materials, their characteristics and their tolerances and limitations; and a general understanding of the operation of various mechanical systems.

We are looking for someone to join our Accounting team.  The Accounts Payable Specialist will set up and maintain vendor accounts, match purchase order to invoices, review and code invoices to appropriate GL accounts, data entry of invoices, perform weekly check run to facilitate payment to vendors, maintain A/P files and other duties as assigned.


Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
* Must be proficient and have working knowledge of general ledger transactions and reconciliation
* Strong oral and written communication skills
* Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
* Strong PC skills, with proficiency in Excel and Word
* Strong analytical, problem solving and organizational skills
* Must be detail oriented
* Ability to multi-task and work independently to meet deadlines
* Strong data entry skills
* Ability research and reconcile accounts and work with vendors to resolve issues
* Ability to understand and apply basic accounting principles relating to accounts payable
* Strong work ethic and positive attitude
* Ability to analyze and evaluate procedures and work processes and to exercise appropriate judgement in establishing priorities and work methods
* Knowledge of JDE a plus

Education and Experience
High school diploma required and Bachelor’s degree in accounting of business-related field a plus.  Two plus years experience with Accounts Payable.
